Autumnal Cupcakes

Well that was a quick November, wasn’t it folks? Here we are on the cusp of December, still eating turkey leftovers and enjoying an extra slice of pumpkin pie (at least that’s how it is here with us owls).

The fun part of being a baker is when someone says “I really enjoyed your devil’s food and angel food cake cupcakes, could you make those again for Thanksgiving?” and – while being in PIE MODE (thank you to everyone who purchased one from me!) being able to say “I can do that!”

… and then diving into your stash of decorations and cupcake wrappers to find the *perfect* Thanksgiving vibes because you know you have it.

The adorable and edible foxes are sitting in some chocolate frosting dusted with tiny autumn leaves and royal icing leaf trios, which is atop a devil’s food cupcake. The orange, yellow and brown frosting is vanilla, with sprinkles and edible autumn leaves and that’s all on top of an angel food cupcake.

I’m starting to get ready for COOKIE MODE, but please know that on Saturday December 6th from 11-3 I can once again be found at the Knights of Columbus, 755 Erie St in NT, selling treats once more! There’ll be more Christmas tree brownies and apple cider donuts for sure, but I’ll be rolling out some other Christmas goodies – including decorated cookies. Watch for more soon!
